There's cheering from the cockpit, Hannah unable to hold back the rush of excitement or the grin spreading across her face. "That's my girl." a pause, and then for Finn's benefit she adds - "You too, kid."
Starkiller Base is gone. They're all going to be okay. Any of the enemy ships that remain would be smart to turn and run. The war isn't over but the battle is. How many times has she narrowly escaped from a situation where she should have gotten herself or someone else killed? There were some good years when she was doing more racing and transporting than she was running - and she even thought Luke might step back from a life of non-stop politics. Then everything changed and Luke found himself leading a rebellion all over again. It was hard to know what to do with herself then.
She sinks into her seat, letting the relief wash over her. She can't wait to get back to Luke, to let him see Ben, to get a small break, no matter how brief it is. Then it all start to feel real. Normal, though... she thinks they're still a long way out from that. If she's honest there will probably never be a normal for any of them.
Hannah steadies the ship and glances to Chewie. "You got this? I'm gonna check on on the kids."

Hannah finds Rey and Ben, taking a moment to study him. She's wondered his entire life if she's a good mother. She never had good role models and hadn't imagined herself as a parent. Babies don't wait for you to be ready and Ben wasn't an exception. Maybe if she'd been softer with him, or if she'd just been a different person he would have turned out differently. She tried. That's all she can do now.
"You two okay?" she grins at both of them as she approaches, reaching out to pull Ben into a hug.
