One perk of being a prominent nobleman’s niece: there’s a stash of good, expensive wine I can raid whenever I want. And I can also bring lots of the cheap kind they serve the soldiers.

Making the arrangements now! I swear, one day this is going to drive me nuts. I can hardly go anywhere without an entourage. That and everything takes forever around these parts. Except gossip.

Have you met Fayt? It feels weird that he’s not the one we know. I almost asked him about Aerith last time.

A few times, yeah. We went to see him the very first night Maria and I got here, he helped us get set up.

I'm not used to him being so young, either! Or at least, him being my age. But he's nice.

And that reminds me that I need to bug him into making me a communicator. Do you know how hard it is to write with these feathers? I actually had someone else write for me the very first time the Queen sent me a letter, because MY HANDWRITING IS AWFUL AND TOTALLY NOT LADYLIKE.

I should be there in a few days. Please don't freak out about my entourage. It's bad enough the Count's sending his men, Albel's insisting on some of his, too. X_X
