They didn't have any trouble getting out. That was handy. Probably helped that Cassian miraculously didn't look like someone who'd climbed ten stories and smelled of blasterburn—or maybe that was irrelevant when some of the casino's patrons, who'd forgotten to e.g. sleep, looked and stank as bad. Kaytoo, as usual, was also the best of companions: not just lending an air of legitimacy, but someone most people just didn't want trouble with.

Cassian eased out of the drunk act as they continued down the avenue; no transition too jarring to anyone who happened to look at them of a given moment, 'til finally walking on his own power and leading the way. "Just a few blocks," he said casually to Kay. "Anything interesting so far?" i.e. Anybody seem to find them too interesting? No matter how good Cassian had been trained to do it, Kay's ability to scan their surroundings would always be better.
