Ben gave a vague look over to Luke, and shrugged. "Yeah, fine, over dinner," he said, his voice still clipped and closed off when talking to his Dad. Great, so if he won't go and convince Aunt Leia to come back, then is anyone ever going to believe him when he says he didn't turn? No, probably not was the answer to that and he hated it. He hated that no one would believe it.

The anger pulsed from him again, and he squashed it down.

"Going to try to corrall these things into a storage space," he said, looking down at the porgs. How many even got on the ship. He snorted at Hannah's suggestion, though, wondering if 'far away field' was some kind of code for what she'd really like to do to the flightless winged rats. As he was mentally referring to them.

His gaze flicked over to Rey once again, shooting her a small smile, once that was hidden away quickly. He owed her, a lot, and she needed to know that anger wasn't directed at her, never about that. "Mind giving a hand with... this?" He gestured over the porgs.

"Are you keeping that one?" Ben checked with Jane. "So we know?"

Hannah’s attempt at humor rendered a little smirk from Rey who’s mood was still soured from the chaos the shrieking porgs were causing in the hangar. She had wanted to try and make a good impression on Ben’s family - he hadn’t told her everything - the rift between Jon and he unmistakably but still shrouded in mystery for the former scavenger. She knew it was important to Ben to be accepted again, and she wanted to do what she could to help - the screaming mess certainly didn’t help.

Certain she caught sight of Jane and Jon glancing over at her Rey at least once, and somewhat concerned as to what’s gotten their attention the young fledgling Jedi turns her focus instead towards Ben when he speaks, nodding. “Let’s get them out of here before they break anything.” The idea of pissing off the Skywalker-Solo clan is very unappealing, whatever their issues with one another might be.

Glad to be given something to do Rey flashes Ben a quick, almost shy smile before heading off to start corralling the porgs from one of the hangar’s far ends, her thoughts already diverted to somewhere they may have flown over on the way that would be make a suitable home for the wailing lot of them.

Given the choice between hanging back with the porgs (and the children...) and following her husband, Hannah chooses to follow Luke to somewhere with fewer birds. Will there be a fist fight in the 5 minutes they're separated? She'd like to say of course not, but Hannah knows better than to rule out any possibilities for chaos with her family.

She's glad that Ben and Rey are back but the whole situation leaves her concerned for Luke. Truthfully, she's concerned for all of them and what it might really mean for the Jedi to come to an end at such a delicate time in the galaxy. It's been a long time since they'd heard from Leia, but never seeing his sister again? That must be something of a blow.

Hannah waits until they have a little more privacy, and then slips her hand into his, softly bumping against him. "You okay? If we really need her, you can go. I'll, uh, supervise things here." She grins. Leaving her in charge is easily more stressful than coming up with plan B in the first place.
