That's right. It's just like those jamjar games.
One moment you're minding your own business, and then... poof!
You're in Myrkr for no apparent reason.
(Or you've always wanted to be here, and you finally did it. Whatever, we're not the cops.)

That's not the weirdest part, though. Because you might be seeing double.
It's like the time-space continuum (or the Force, whatever) collapsed over the forest
and now doubles and multiples of you or people you like hate want to kill know are appearing.

Not only that, the forest is also teeming with
canines who can sense the Force and hunt Force-sensitives (vornskr),
genetically-enhanced vornskr because reptilian hounds are cooler (voxyn),
and lizards that can create Force-neutralizing bubbles (ysalamiri).

So go have fun with that!

"No idea," she said with a shrug. "But with our family's luck? Prepare for the worst, Smallbacca," she clapped her brother on the shoulder with a straight face. Then it broke into a grin. "So where d'ya wanna explore first?"

Ben made a face. "Don't call me that," he said sulkily. It was bad enough that their mother called him that in front of everyone. Names like that are for softies and he was a tough young boy! Besides it also brought unnecessary attention because everyone else would think it cute and would then want to call him that, too.

He looked toward the forest. He didn't have the rest of his family's Force-sensitivity, true, but he was smart and observant nonetheless. "That part doesn't look right." He pointed to one particularly dark and shadowed path. "And I think that roaring came from there. Should we check?" Because what if someone was lost or hurt?

"Sorry, but it's the family curse," she smirked a little. "Once a nickname sticks, it sticks. Especially if nicknamed by Mombacca," she added. There was a theatrical sigh, and an eye-roll. "But I suppose I could stick to Ben, or Benny? I like Benny."

She's still searching in the Force, and nods when her brother points to a path. "Follow the noises, find if there's people here... Course, could be a monster, but we've both got our blasters."

"Is it even supposed to mean anything?" Other than some weird mashup with Uncle Chewie's name? He really didn't get the fun in nicknames. Of course, it's less fun when you were the one with a nickname.

Not that Benny was any better. But he loved his older sister more than he let on, so he relented, "Only if you're the only one who'll use it. Promise?"

Follow the noises, find people, fight monsters. Sounded like a good plan. "And I have a knife." He was ridiculously proud of his knife, a gift to him from his favorite Uncle Bail.

"I mean, it's a nickname, they don't really mean stuff." Hana said with a shrug. "You don't see me moaning about being Hanbacca," she added, still looking around but with an almost wary air now. Something felt... off.

"I promise," she said, then grinned at him, "Benny."

"Yes, you have the fantastic knife," Hana echoed, "but I'd prefer we didn't get close enough to have to use the knife on some big scary monster."

"Because you're cute," he sulks. "And Hanbacca is cute. It's okay for girls to be cute."

He rolls his eyes at her when she calls him Benny, but he really doesn't seem too upset. Then again, they've always been close, and as much as they pissed each other off sometimes, when they end up having to face something together they're a solid team. "Me too." He swallows. "Do you think there is a big scary monster?"

"Don't let anyone tell you it's not okay for boys to be cute, Benny," she said, a mock sternness in her face. It fell into a smirk, and a wink. She did get it, even if it did seem like she lived for riling up her little brother.

She looked around. "I ... don't know," she said, honestly. "I'd prefer not, but be prepared for anything."
