OPEN RP POST — jurassic world, but with lightsabers??

whatever it is you've been doing
you are now in Myrkr!

That's right. It's just like those jamjar games.
One moment you're minding your own business, and then... poof!
You're in Myrkr for no apparent reason.
(Or you've always wanted to be here, and you finally did it. Whatever, we're not the cops.)

That's not the weirdest part, though. Because you might be seeing double.
It's like the time-space continuum (or the Force, whatever) collapsed over the forest
and now doubles and multiples of you or people you like hate want to kill know are appearing.

Not only that, the forest is also teeming with
canines who can sense the Force and hunt Force-sensitives (vornskr),
genetically-enhanced vornskr because reptilian hounds are cooler (voxyn),
and lizards that can create Force-neutralizing bubbles (ysalamiri).

So go have fun with that!

He'll have to forgive the tone. It's a defense mechanism when she's uncomfortable or upset. Which, she is and how could she not be considering she didn't exactly expect to find herself here, where there's danger lurking among the trees and leaves that they can't see, that could be circling them without them ever even knowing it. Her eyes dip to the wolf at his side and her head tilts a little at how naturally it takes to his mood. How linked they seem to be. Though her brow arches a little when he insists he's from Winterfell. "If your from Winterfell, then you know Aunt Sansa, Warden of the North." Aunt Sansa. Family. It's not said as a name drop either, as her earlier tone might expect it to come out, but more just an off comment. She shifts slightly to try and see what he was trying to look at, but there's nothing there but more forest.

Eyes dip to the dead vornskr again. "Myrkr is a planet that's in a system far away from Westeros and Winterfell." It doesn't actually phase her that he might not know where Myrkr is, a lot of people from Westeros never leave the system so why bother looking at a star map to see where other planets are or what they might contain. It's going to take her brother forever to finally come get her. "It houses those," she points toward the carcass with a sigh, "and Force-sensitives are their favorite meal. Which is just perfect for me." Her eyes narrow just a little on him as she stretches out in the Force to try and poke at him gently to see if he's sensitive. Because she hadn't even bothered or paid attention before now.

"Allana," she offers as she crouches a little and offers her hand, palm up to Anji in greeting. "It's nice to meet you, Anji, though your owner seems to have forgotten to introduce himself." Her eyes slip up to his face as she waits patiently to see if Anji will come over to investigate the offered hand or not.

He doesn't get a lot of what she's saying, and the confusion — more of stunned surprise, really — is clear on his face. Though despite the weird creature and the weird girl with her weird information, he does relax a little bit when Anji moves over to sniff Allana's hand; he trusts his direwolf's instincts probably more than he trusts his own. A family thing.

"First of all," he says, now stepping closer to the pair of them, "there is no longer a Warden of the North. Aunt Sansa is Lady of Casterly Rock." Sweet revenge, as he's often heard his parents and uncle say when they reminisce about the wars. "And I don't know what you mean by planet, or Force-sensitives. But you feel like—" He pauses, trying to get a better read of what Anji is actually sensing from her. "Are you a skinchanger?"

He meets her gaze when she looks up at him, and it's clear in his expression that he's not forgotten to introduce himself. But it's not deliberately being rude and more of a tactical move, although now that he's watching her face more closely, he can't help but sense a strange... familiarity. "You have the same name as my sister." His frown deepens. "I'm Edric Stark."

She'd honestly understand that family thing, trusting their animals more than they trust their own instincts. And there's gentle scritches for Anji if the direwolf allows Allana to spoil her a little. Though she's watching him with a frown at the information about Aunt Sansa. And yes, she doesn't note that he's called her Aunt too. So just who exactly is he that they share an Aunt.

"I visited Aunt Sansa in Winterfell two weeks ago, she's definitely not a Lady at Casterly Rock," Allana argues slightly. Though the tone isn't argumentative, but confused because how is he so wrong and yet there's a familiarity to him. Like he could potentially pass for Azor's brother some, which means he could potentially pass for her brother. It doesn't make sense. "No, I'm not a skinchanger like Uncle Bran." More family, more terms she's familiar with too, because she's heard the stories and seen her Uncle when he does shift into a wolf or a bird.

"Who exactly is your father? Because I know all my cousins, and I've never met you before." Was there some long lost Stark they missed somewhere in the family tree? Some actual bastard of Ned that had hidden and claimed the name? The fact that he has a sister with her name though, that itches something in the back of her head that she already knows she doesn't and won't like. Because it's not exactly a Stark or Northern name, hailing from her mother's side of the family. "Allana isn't exactly a common name either," she breaths as she looks down at the direwolf in front of her.

The feeling of familiarity is only making things even more confusing, and his frown deepens some more as he tries, once more, to place her. Aunts and uncles and skinchangers, all things they have in common? Or at least to some degree.

"My father is Robb Stark, King in the North." That should explain things, right? Why he's said there's no Warden of the North anymore, because the North and the Vale and the Riverlands have long ceded from the Iron Throne. "Who are your parents? Because I know all my cousins, but I've never met you before, either." His turn to throw that back at her. Though after a moment, as though he thinks it might help matters, he adds, "My mother is Jane Organa, Princess of Alderaan." Which explains his sister's name. Could this Allana be from that side of the family, then?

She hadn't thought it possible, but her blood runs cold at his parentage, her brow furrowing both in confusion and not quite feeling like she's heard right. She couldn't have heard right, could she? There's no possible way that his parents could be who he's claiming they are. Watching him, her eyes darken just a little. "That's not possible."

"My father is Jon Snow, also known as Aegon Targaryen, King on the Iron Throne," she offers seriously. Because that's exactly why Aunt Sansa is Warden of the North. The North didn't ceded from the Iron Throne after the wars because their King in the North had claimed the throne so what was the point in breaking free when the King they wanted ruled over all. "Uncle Robb died when he laid siege to King's Landing and the Lannisters ages ago." It was fact. She'd seen his grave in the family crypt in Winterfell, something Sansa and her father had made sure was done for their fallen brother.

She stands slowly, frowning at him. "And my mother is Jane Organa, Princess of Alderaan, Queen of Westeros." It's not exactly a royal tone as she says this, but with a firm enough bite to it that there's no questioning her answer, no mistaken identity, and no thinking she's pretending or lying with the conviction of who her mother is.

"What?" he sputters with a disbelieving laugh. "Uncle Jon—" He stares back at her in confusion, not quite feeling like he's heard right. He couldn't have heard right, could he? There's no possible way her parents could be who she's claiming they are. "That's not possible. Aye, Uncle Jon is Aegon Targaryen, King on the Iron Throne, but..."

Her insistent tone only turns his just as steely, and decidedly more growly. A mix of both his parents', even if he looked more like Robb than Jane. Though he had more of his mother's restraint. "Father is alive and well, thank you, and the North has been independent from Westeros for decades." Anji, sensing his agitation, slowly backs away from Allana and moves closer to him protectively. "I don't know who you are or what you're trying to insinuate, but what you're saying is impossible."

"I've grown up with both my parents and siblings my whole life, it's pretty far from impossible." She stands when Anji moves back to Edric, not blaming the direwolf for going to her companion's side when he grows growly, though her eyes are defiant and her chin tips just a hair up. "I'm supposed to be at a dinner with them now, instead of here on stupid Myrkr." He has sisters, right? So at the very least he should know that some of her tone and frustration is at the situation, not him, especially with her calling their location stupid. At the impossibility of running into someone claiming her mother is with another man, the brother of her father no less.

She runs a hand through her hair as she closes her eyes and practically tries to wish herself back home. Like that'd work at all. She's not four anymore. So she also does the one thing she knows will make her feel better, she stretches out through the Force to her brother, because she needs that solid family reassurance right now. Also, it's probably better to get him started on coming to get her now rather than later. "I don't know what's going on, how either of us got here, but I do know my parents, my family." She opens her eyes with a sigh, though her head turns a little at the sound of rustling in the foliage not too far from them. "And we shouldn't linger in the forest or more of them will be coming after us."
