OPEN RP POST — jurassic world, but with lightsabers??

whatever it is you've been doing
you are now in Myrkr!
That's right. It's just like those jamjar games.
One moment you're minding your own business, and then... poof!
You're in Myrkr for no apparent reason.
(Or you've always wanted to be here, and you finally did it. Whatever, we're not the cops.)
That's not the weirdest part, though. Because you might be seeing double.
It's like the time-space continuum (or the Force, whatever) collapsed over the forest
and now doubles and multiples of you or people you
Not only that, the forest is also teeming with
canines who can sense the Force and hunt Force-sensitives (vornskr),
genetically-enhanced vornskr because reptilian hounds are cooler (voxyn),
and lizards that can create Force-neutralizing bubbles (ysalamiri).
So go have fun with that!

Color drains from his face as he panics from the implication of those words, and he takes a small step back as though it would help steady himself. Seven hells, a child claiming to be his? It's impossible for her to be his with Jane, despite the resemblance, but she doesn't need to be if she's part of some scheme to start trouble between the Iron Throne and the North.
He takes a deep breath, barely hearing what else the girl's saying, although he catches something about sparring and then finding herself here? It seems too outrageous a story for her to be lying about it. "Let's... let's get you home, then, Allana." He feels like the ground is continuously shifting beneath his feet, but when has he been able to turn away someone in need? "Where is home, though? And who is your mother, if I may ask?"

She doesn't like the color draining from his features, nor the way he steps back slightly even if he pretends to steady himself with the move. It's enough that she can't quite keep it off her features either, that it stings that he doesn't seem to recognize her, that he's paled when she gives him her name and proof that she's his.
There's a small nod though at the offer to get her home, because anywhere that gets her back to the father that doesn't look at her like a complete stranger would be nice. "Alderaan," she offers as she looks down, not sure she can take it if he doesn't recognize the location or worse pales even further at the mention. "My home is Alderaan. And my mother is Jane Snow, formerly Jane Solo of House Organa." She's still not looking at him as her fingers slowly wrap around the sword and she pulls it from the ground easily. It's a shame it's a training sword, so she doesn't exactly have a sheath or somewhere to put it, instead having to carry it by hand anywhere they're going.

He shakes his head. "I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about, my Lady." He never did like lying, and his life had revolved around lies for so long he no longer wants any part of it. "Jane Organa... is Queen in the North." A warrior queen, a fine queen; there are many songs about her. "I would gladly help you return to Alderaan, but I must first locate my companions and, hopefully, our way off this island."

Her nose wrinkles slightly and she shakes her head. "Aunt Sansa is Queen in the North." Not'dad, your words aren't getting any less confusing. "Dad stayed in Alderaan with mom after he died at Castle Black, freeing him of his vows." It's probably not surprising to her family she knows her parent's love story by heart, she's the romantic between her siblings. Though she's pretty sure Azor has a romantic side he's just hiding. She chews on her lower lip a little though as she watches him. He looks like he carries a lot more weight than her father now that she's really looking at him, like things are harder for him. "Aunt Daenerys tried to take the Iron Throne, but without the North's help she didn't really succeed even with her dragons, and Uncle Bran rules the six kingdoms now," she murmurs softly.
She glances around a little as he mentions locating his companions. "Who all came with you? How many of them are we looking for?" Because it gives her something to focus on, something to distract from the ache in her heart. Something already tells her that when she finally makes it home, she's going to be hugging both her parents very tightly for a very long while.

He sits beside her, not too close to be intrusive, but close enough for conversation. "Sansa is Lady of Casterly Rock," he starts, offering his version of the events. "Bran is Lord Commander of the Kingsguard." Bran had always wanted to be a knight, and all of the Stark children of his generation knew that. "I..." He swallows. "Jon," he says instead, because it's easier for him, "was Master of War to Robb, the King in the North, until Daenerys went on her campaign for the Iron Throne and his parentage was exposed. They call him Aegon now, the King of Westeros." There's the slight lift of the corners of his lips as he recalls a joke in the family. "The King of the South."
He glances at her, wondering how she's taking this. It seems a lot to put on a young girl who truly believes her truth, but it is what it is.

One leg comes up as she listens too, her arms resting on it so she can prop her head up, tilted slightly so it's easy to watch him next to her. "Is Uncle Bran broken in your," she pauses because story isn't the right word, but world feels completely wrong too. Eventually, after her nose scrunches as she tries to suss out a good word, she settles on, "timeline?" It's the best way to say version without making it sound like he's wrong or she's wrong for their events. "Uncle Bran in my timeline was pushed out a window by Jamie Lannister, can't walk anymore. But he can travel with animals when he wants, so he can fly or run when he wants, in a way."
Her brow creases though, Master of War to Robb when he was fighting. "But how were you Master of War when you were vowed to the Night's Watch? Or did you never go to the Night's Watch?" Because there's just no way she feels comfortable calling him by name. Even if he's not her father, it feels weirdly disrespectful to call him Jon or Aegon. "My dad didn't want the Iron Throne. He just wanted Mom and us, Az and I were like two or three when he came to Alderaan. And because Uncle Bran was willing to take it instead, he was able to just stay in Alderaan with mom."
It's a lot, honestly. But thinking of them as different versions, different timelines helps some. It gives everything a little distance. Though there's still pain in her eyes, though part of it might just be the romantic in her because she can see how in love her parents are and part of her things they're destined. But here he is saying her mom married Robb instead. It's weird, not'dad.

Then he turns to look at her, shaking his head a little. "No, I went to the Night's Watch. But I deserted." He couldn't believe he'd done it, really, right until he'd arrived at the Stark camp in the Riverlands and Robb and Jane had hugged him like he was the best thing that had ever happened to them. Following the young girl's trail of thought, though, he continues, "I didn't want the Iron Throne, either. But there was no one else."
